Baking cupcakes was really fun, but also sort of tricky since now you didn't only have to make it look good but also tasty. I looked around on the internet for inspiration and found a lot of good ideas. Decoration these cupcakes made me think of those commercials when they show like "chocolate experts" making delicious chocolate. And I could almost see myself in one of those commercials. It also felt relaxing making them, not caring how long it took and sitting in the kitchen with lighted candles surrounded by cupcakes, candy, cream and frosting.
And about my comic, it's coming along, but I'm having a hard time deciding what the main charterer should wear. And I'm having a really hard time deciding what the new character should look like. I know it's going to be a guy, but otherwise... no idea.

Twirling is going better and better, I actually have some knowledge in twirling now, compared to a couple of weeks ago when I knew exactly nothing! But I feel I'm a really... well, attention craving person (and I have been since I was a kid). Who really want to make everything great just so people will encourage me. But of course I'm also doing it for myself, I mean when I succeed with a twirl that I've had problems with for a long time I'm almost screaming "Yeah! I did it!" without thinking. And the feeling of being rewarded for the work you do feels great. And I think that everyone wants some kind of acknowledgement when they do something good, otherwise it would be very discouraging. That's why I'm so happy when Magda tells me how much I've advanced and it gives me the wish to continue.

Working in the wardrobe for the first time! I hadn't really planed on helping in the wardrobe but it proved to be very rewarding and also very fun. When greeting people it was just pretty fun starting there smiling, talking and welcoming people. I'm generally a very social person and get happy if just someone says hi to me. So chatting with the people to see the concert as well as with the IB2:s felt really nice. But I was really nervous about when everyone was gonna leave, and loads of people was going to want their jackets. I tried to prevent losing stuff the best I could by putting hats and gloves in sleeves of jackets and in the hood. And once people started arriving I tried to work as fast as possible finding each jacket for each person. And for being the first time I think it worked quite well. I had the system figured out quite well, and never had to look for a jacket for a really long time. It was also like a competition in a way, and it was also sort of nice having one clear mission, find the jacket and find it fast.
And extra fun was that we got autographs and to talk with Rongedals, I'm not a super-big fan of them but it was still fun and they were really nice. Another thing I thought was fun was how people claimed that we had their hats or gloves, but when we told them to look in sleeves and such, they always found them. I don't think anyone lost their jacket, glove, helmet or such and I would really like to do this again if I had the chance.

Twirling at home!
Creative cupcakes :D
For Halloween I made cupcakes with different kinds of fun frosting and decorations, I don't count the time baking only the time decorating and that was about... 1 ½ -2 hours.
Cupcake madness!
Twirling class III
I'm getting better! It's really fun to realize how fast I'm getting better and even better to hear Magda say it. It's really rewarding, I mean I only need to practice like 10 minutes everyday and I get so much better! Today we twirled for about 1 hour. It's really tricky when Magda is filming though cause I get really nervous and mess up ^^'
Working in the wardrobe
Hanging coats for a concert at the school with Rongedal and Backens male-voice choir! It was really fun and worthwhile. It took about three hours and afterwards we got autographs!
Childproof comic
Starting out on my comic! I haven't done a lot so far, just about 15 minutes. But you can still start to see how the comic is coming alive on the paper ^^

I'm really exited over this new comic! And I feel that I really like making different kinds of ”everyday mistakes” comics since it's that kind that people can relate to as well as laugh at. The absolutely best part about making a new comic is peoples reaction when they read it, how they giggle, laugh or smile. It just makes me happy and it feels like I have succeeded when that happens. That is also why having Antonia as my supervisor is so nice since she think most things are funny, and so I will always get a possessive response when I'm the most insecure about my comics.

It feels like I have really improved in my twirling even thought it was just my second time. It also feels like a really nice diversification from studying since it's something I can actually improve in physically and not in a brainy way. It's like a brake for the brain as well as good training! It also feels good to get some exercise since I can no longer longboard or bike due to it being all snowy and icy!
We have now started making a program with according to Magda “easy” twirls. For me it's not so easy but a challenge to keep up with Magda's speed and technique. But it feels really great that I could choose the song for myself since now it's a song I like as well as a good speed for me. The song is called “Someone to love” by Fountains of Wayne. And it feels like a song I will never grow tired of and I really like how they sing stuff like “Don't give up!”, it really helps ^^

I'm so happy for Barbro! She plays really clean tunes and not at all as raspy and sometimes false as she did in the beginning. We have changed our trainings to Mondays even though she won't be able to make it next week since she is working evening. But she have made so much improvement and she even managed to take the new tune completely clean on the first try!!!
And I'm really happy that I'm actually able to notice things she does wrong and ways for her to improve. She says herself that I'm a great help and it feels really good that this knowledge that I never really used before actually comes to use helping someone else doing something she wants. Because before the flute was just laying at home and I never really used it. Now I've revived my old skills and are using them in a new way that brings me a lot of joy. It's great to feel that I'm actually making a difference. It might not be a big difference but it still makes me happy.

Comic sketch
I've been working on this new comic of mine! It's about a girl who is having a hard time opening a childproof bottle (she herself is not a child) and then... well I'll keep the punch line as a secret for later ^^ It took about half an hour.
Twirling class II
Had another twirling session with Magda! It was really fun since we started working on the program. We have also started to do more complicated stuff, and I'm really exited! We practiced for about an hour.
Also I practiced some twirls at home, combined time about an hour!
flute lesson IV
Yet another flute lesson. Now that Barbro have almost recovered from her cold she plays better then ever before. She plays really clean tunes about 70-80% of the time, compared to our first lesson when she played the tunes but hardly manage to play any of them clean. We played for about an hour and that is probably the time we will have each lesson.

Twirling was super fun! I made so much progress over only an hour and I think it was really fun. It was also really hard and took a lot of effort standing with your arm straight out trying to spin the majorette stick, as well as standing on your toes etc, etc. It was really statical training! Now I just want a majorette stick of my own so the training will go smother and me and Magda will be able to do a duo twirling program.

Barbro is still getting better quickly, she always practices at home and is starting to find her technique. It didn't go super good last time but I believe it's mostly because of her cold. Your lung capacity is always worse when you are sick, and instead I'm just excited over how well she'll play once she have gotten rid of the cold!

Twirling class I
Had my first lesson i twirling for about 1 hour :D It was really hard but I got super exited when I made quick progress. I really wish I had a majorette stick of my own so I could practise some more. But we'll try to fix that for later! And Magda is a good teacher ^^
flute lesson III
Once again flute lesson. We kept at it for about one hours since Barbro's cold was a tad worse then last time. We are thinking about moving our lessons to Mondays instead, but nothing is decided yet. :)

Creativity
I finally finished my comic! I have actually been working on it before while but felt that is was a lot to draw. It ended up being 28 squares and almost a full A3 paper! But still, I'm very proud and feel I how much I have evolved in this A3 paper. In the beginning I spent a very long time on each square but after a while it got easier and I think I found a more suitable technique for drawing comics. I also think I almost mastered drawing chains now after having drawn them in nine out of 28 pictures, that's like 32% or so!
After finishing the drawing I first felt relief and then I was really worried! Was it really funny? I hurried up and showed Antonia the finished version of it and got quite a few laughs from her. Success! I'll try to find a A3 scanner to put up the whole comic, but it might take a while.

I was really happy to find that Ronja was up for joining me for a walk. Walking is for me quite boring just for the sake of walking. But with a friend at your side it's suddenly a nice way of socializing! And other then that I really like the autumn, the colour of the leafs and the raw air. It feels so cozy and being outside suddenly makes thoughts about hot cocoa and a fireplace so much more alluring. And when you finally sit there by the fireplace it feels like the best place in the world.
Also I feel this kind of exercise is really good for me. Sure it's not to demanding but without any kind of exercise I can't fall asleep evening and won't feel to well. During the summer I always bike to school and back but when I'm home I usually don't find anything useful or fun to do outside. Therefore are these kind of walks also a good way for me to get some fresh air!

The flute-lesson with Barbro feel like a super good way for both her and me to evolve both in the skill and personally. I feel I have learn her way of learning better now and can then teach her in a way more adapted to her way of learning. It also feels like I evolve in playing the flute, I feel more secure in instrument and I might play cleaner then I did before. The planning the lessons on before hand is probably a very good way for me to improve myself. I have to take responsibility and evaluate a number of things to be prepared for the lessons.
The lessons themselves are really fun and seeing her becoming better and trying so hard is making me feel like a proud parent... maybe.... I try to be very positive, or well I am without thinking of it. I give her encouragement when she develops and tries hard to help her with her weaknesses. I almost feel like I can't give her to much encouragement since she tries so hard and develops so fast. Also it was the lack of encouragement that make me stop taking flute lessons so long ago. And I wouldn't like that to happen to Barbro who have wanted to be able to play the flute for a long time!

A strol in the woods
Me and my friend Ronja Andersson took an about two hours long walk in the woods. It was an awesome and colorful autumn day, and it was really nice having company.
flute lesson II
Just came back from another flute lesson with Barbro. It is starting to sound really good and she have almost mastered H, A & G! Today we went trough C as well as note and rehearsing. We only had a lesson for 1 hour and 15 minutes since both of us was tired. I feel really happy teaching her to play the flute since she is very motivated and eager to learn.

Comic strip completed!
1 and a half hours of drawing and finally finished with my Link-comic. It almost filled up a whole A3! I can really feel that I have improved my drawing skill these past few weeks. Drawing goes much faster, and I even sketches better. Now I'll start working on a portrait of Moa instead! Here are some pics from when I was still working on it as well as the finished result!
